Autumn Term 2

Thia half term has been a busy one in Year 5.  The half term started with a visit to the British Museum where the children were able to view a selection of artefacts from the Mayan civilisation.  They were also lucky enough to have time to view some of the other artefacts on display there.  Other than an extremely long bus journey home, a fun and informative time was had by all.

At the start of Autumn term 2, the children had their inspiration day which included making parachutes out of paper to illustrate the effect of air resistance.

The term has also included an anti-bullying workshop as part of anti-bullying week.

For Children in Need, the children took part in a whole school talent show and a pupil in Year 5 was named the winner for KS2.  All of his friends were very proud of his achievement and bravery to perform alone.
