Parent/Carer Workshops

At Belmont, we value the important role parents and carers play in a child’s education. We consider home and school to be partners in ensuring all of our pupils reach their potential. We realise that the strategies and approaches used in our school may be unfamiliar to you so we seek opportunities to work together to share our philosophy and give practical support so you can help your child with their learning outside of school.

"I attended the anti-bullying coffee morning. I have two children in the school and I thought it important to know how the school would deal with such matters. I was very impressed. The staff have been working hard to update their procedures and make the reporting of bullying very easy. The children have been taught to identify bullying and using the TAG system can now report it themselves. A clear message was given that Belmont will not tolerate bullies. The morning was very informative. It was a relaxed atmosphere and we could all ask questions. I'll certainly be attending more of these meetings in future."Parent
