Giving back to our community is something we value highly at Belmont. Find out more about our work with the local foodbank.
Each year the families, pupils and staff at Belmont give thought to others in the local community through our harvest celebration. This year, our pupil lead Community Committee organised the school's harvest donation which saw our very generous families contribute items such as cereal, pasta, tinned goods, biscuits and toiletry items. Grace Allen from our local foodbank based at St Paul's Church, Northumberland Heath, visited the school on the 11th October to collect the donations and to lead our assembly educating the children on the important role the provision plays in the community.
We are thankful that we have been able to increase the stock and help towards replenishing the shelves of the foodbank.
